Nathan says goodbye to his friend, Haruki & his little brother who are moving to Singapore. They were soccer buddies -- and will be missed. (not pictured, is his best friend, josh, who also moved away this summer... it's a fall of new beginnings and friendships)--

first day of Kinder & 5th Grade

Nathan's so proud of his little brother. We all rode bikes to school together today. And, this is the only year that the boys will be in the same school together. They helped each other get ready for school. Deciding on which tennis shoes to wear. Nathan thought the basketball shoes were the coolest for the first day and Drew said, ok, but you have to tie them... nathan said, yeah, and let's double knot them.
